The web site focuses on the kinds of processes and conditions required to make NSSDs work in practice. It reviews experience with nssds, and other strategies for environment and development, in a number of developing countries on the basis of consultations with a range of stakeholders. Resources available include practical guidelines for national sustainable planning; country specific reference material and working plans; and key reference materials, either as full text or as abstracts, on national strategies for sustainable development, indicators and details of international agreements.
