FANAMBY is a non-profit, environmental NGO in Madagascar. FANAMBY believes that effective natural resources conservation is dependent on both community empowerment and involvement in natural resources manage as well as creating alternative revenue sources for the local population.

MATE is a small non-profit and non-governmental organisation (NGO), based in Madagascar. It works for the promotion of conservation by development and underlines the importance of the work in association with rural populations to handle the dramatic problem of the threats of overexploitation and disappearance of natural resources.

The Tandroy Conservation Trust exists to conserve biodiversity and encourage sustainable development in the Tandroy Region of Southern Madagascar. The Trust runs volunteer programmes, facilitate research done in the Spiny Forest, and developing Forest Management Plans with local people.
