Keith Madders -
Chairman
Born in Zimbabwe, Keith studied at the University of Cape Town and trained as an investment analyst before launching himself into the music industry. In 1976 Keith went to live in London, where he lectured and established various businesses as well as a number of successful charitable organisations working to relieve poverty in Southern Africa. Keith was awarded an MBE in the Queen's 2002 Honours List for services to the Zimbabwe Trust.

Metsi Makhetha
Metsi has extensive experience in working with and engaging, communities, state and non-state institutions, including the private sector and academia, for generating multi-sector responses to addressing development challenges.
She’s currently the Regional Advisor for the United Nation’s largest Development Organisation, UNDP, providing strategic, programmatic and management advise in areas such as access to energy services, responding to climate change and mitigating the impact of HIV/AIDS. She brings passion and uncompromising leadership commitment to RA’s mission. |

Elizabeth Rihoy
Liz has over 20 years of experience working in a number of African countries on community development and natural resource management issues. Her particular interests lie in policy processes and governance in relation to CBNRM. Currently resident in Kenya, she is completing a Phd on CBNRM and democracy.

Mark Farrelly
Mark Farrelly has extensive experience in the retail industry both corporate and personal business. He currently serves on the boards of the Spur group and now ResourceAfrica; was a founder of the restaurant association of South Africa; and formerly served as a director of the franchise association of South Africa. He brings commercial wisdom, humour and a genuine interest in the attainment of Resource Africa goals.

Dr Hector Magome
Hector serves as the Executive Director of Conservation Services at South African National Parks. He is also in charge of SanParks’ Transfrontier Conservation initiatives and is Vice Chair of the World Commission for Protected Areas in Southern Africa. Hector was a key figure in transforming South Africa’s National Parks Act to ensure that local people play a role in park management. |
